20 Feb Convention 2020 Scerni Group: Leading Change

The 2020 Convention has gathered all the positive developments, the spirit and the collaborative philosophy that characterize our group. The annual meeting, held on 7 February at Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, aimed to share with the whole team the results of 2019 projects that will be followed up in 2020.

The inaugural speech by Andrea Baroni, Managing Director of Scerni, opened the meeting by presenting in detail the results of 2019 and above all the pillars of the future business plan 2020-2022. Next on the agenda the reports by Dario Rizzi and Paolo Iannelli, Business Units Directors, which illustrated the goals and strategies of Contract Logistics, Agency & Freight Forwarding and Transport divisions. A particular focus was dedicated to the development of new businesses in Poland with the collaboration of Tomasz Raczka, partner of Scerni Poland. Finally, extensive participation and discussion animated the presentations of future projects concerning human resources, IT and communication.

Closing speech by Paolo Scerni, President of the Group, supported the Business units’ teamwork fulfilled up today and shared the stimulating new opportunities that will allow us to proceed with enthusiasm in 2020.

After the meeting and the lunch by Mentelocale, participants were involved in a guided tour of Palazzo Ducale’s Great Council Hall and Minor Council Hall, discovering the political history of the Republic of Genoa.

Gruppo Scerni kicks off in 2020, beginning in the sign of change, with a renewed mind set and an engaged team thanks to this experience.
