Scerni new organization

Scerni announces a new internal organization with the aim of increasing the speed of execution and expanding the value chain by approaching new sectors and consumer trends.

The market requires, as always, full integration and ability to make the logistical services more efficient thus Scerni reorganizes its Business Units by creating a single coordination unit called ‘Logistics’, gathering all activities related to warehousing and the transports flows connected to all storage sites.

Dario Rizzi becomes head of the BU Logistics, while Paolo Iannelli remains in charge for the BU Shipping & Forwarding Agency.
Given the growing complexity of the various contracts currently managed, important operational changes have been decided and implemented in the BU Logistics with the creation of a structure focused by single Site/Hub and an effective Talent Intake program, which enriched the organization quality and the mix of skills existing already in the company.

Roberto Medici (from IKEA) and Simone Veschi (from Whirlpool) joined the team bringing valuable experience, managerial skills and great passion.

At the same time, with Gabriele Parodi joining the company as Business Development Manager, a new role has been created whose task is to develop and manage new workflows by finding synergies with Scerni’s business partners.
Gabriele has wide commercial experience from other companies and global logistics operators and will support the top management in shaping and fine-tuning the Go To Market strategy for the coming years.

Even during this very difficult time we are all experiencing, this reorganization demonstrates Scerni’s will and determination to invest in talented people in order to achieve long-term objectives and create value for our shareholders, customers and employees.
